Now, you may be wondering what the title of
this post is about. Not all turtlenecks
are designed for busty or small busted women and we will examine some of the
do’s, don’ts, and how’s to look great in a turtleneck regardless of bust size.
Large
Bust:
Busty women should avoid a cropped sleeveless turtleneck sweater. This is because the bulk a cropped top can
add to your body may make you look bustier than you really are which isn’t
always a good thing. Why? Why would you want to look like a walking
pair of boobs down the street? You want
people to notice our style and flare, not just your chest. Consider a longer length turtleneck to help
balance out your top and torso.
You also want to avoid a chunky turtleneck sweater because they can make you look
boxy and wide. This is because the
chunkiness of the sweater itself is simply not designed for large busted women
to look good in, it does nothing for your figure so I recommend staying away
from it entirely. If you do however
choose to find a chunky turtleneck, you’ll want to
find a long one to help elongate your body.
Small
Bust:
If you are a small busted lady you can wear
just about anything. A chunky turtleneck is fine but you may want to look for one with
a short fold-over neck. This has nothing
to do with your bust however; the thickness of a chunky turtleneck may
look too bulky when you add a high neckline.
The skinny rib turtleneck by Vince at Fashiondoxy.com is perfect for a
small busted woman. It is slim fit and
will show off your curves for a thin body.
If you are not so thin but have a small bust you’ll want to try
something like the Side Zip Rib Turtleneck Sweater also by Vince. This turtleneck has a more relaxed fit and
won’t hug your curves as much. Plus,
look at the adorable side zip!
