How to find that perfect tunic if you’re a curvy woman.

All women have curves but some more than others. This quick style guide will help you shapely women out there find great tunic tanks to fit your shape.  There are tunics for tall women, short, wide, round, etc. and we’ll help you find the one that’s right for you.

If you are an apple shaped woman you want to stay away from a clingy tank tunic top.  You want to try to center the attention around your neckline and legs.  Find a ladies tunic top with a v neckline to help direct the eyes to your face.  Also, a tunic with a small pattern over a dark color helps create the illusion of having a smaller top.  You should avoid a chunky necklace and opt for a short necklace and earrings.

If you have more of an hourglass shape a fitted tunic is for you.  While many tunics are loose they do come with an elastic or fitted waist.  This will definitely show off your waist but make sure it isn’t too big.

If you are a full figured lady try finding plus size long tunics.  You don’t want something shapeless and just wide though.  You also want to avoid clingy and loose fitting tunics.  Off the shoulder tunics are great for showing off your collar bone.  Make sure the sleeves aren’t too long either.  These features are all slimming.  You also want to go with a smaller print in a tunic style top.

Finally, look at the wide selection of women’s long tunics tops if you have a rectangle shape.  This body type might not look good in most general tunics out there however you can still make it work.  You’ll have to create curves that aren’t there and a standard tunic is too loose to do that.  So what do you do?  Find a button up tunic and throw on a thin belt which will make the fabric puff out slightly above and below the belt to make it look like you have a defined waist even though you are built like a rectangle.
